Visual Identity, UI, Web and Marketing design

ABOUT

Loudly is a new social music platform developed and launched in Berlin in the summer of 2018. It provides a general platform to share music and music culture, join groups and to connect artists with fans like never before.

As lead designer and creative director I created the complete visual identity and app design together with our lead UX designer. This also included visual identity and assets for various sub-brands, digital series and products under the Loudly umbrella.

Since Loudly is primarily a youth and music focused media company, I wanted to create a brand identity that felt slick and trendy. We decided on a minimal yet high contrast color palette of black, white and turquoise with various other bright colors for support. For the typography I chose Nimbus sans, including over-sized headlines in a wide heavy weight font to give it a music zine/club poster feel. The brand was heavily inspired by the youth culture and music scenes of Berlin.
